Windows VPS hosting

A Windows VPS with the licence price on the label.

Windows hosting has a habit of hiding the licence: a trial, a footnote, or a fee that grows with the server. Ours is $4 a month on every size, shown in every price. A Lite 2 with Windows is $8 a month, billed by the hour, paid in crypto, in any of 15 countries.

Launch offer: we double your first deposit. Deposit $100, spend $200. Your server is usually ready within 15 minutes; delete it any time.

Plans and prices

Every Lite runs Windows. The licence is always $4.

All prices in USD, without VAT. Customers in the EU pay their country’s VAT on top. No setup fees, no contracts.

Total = the Lite’s monthly price + $4. Both are billed per started hour at 0.15% of their monthly price, and a month never costs more than the total.

Versions

Pick 2019, 2022 or 2025. We don’t sell 2016.

Windows Server versions we offer
VersionSecurity updates untilMemory (Microsoft)
Windows Server 202514 November 20342 GB minimum, 4 GB recommended
Windows Server 202214 October 20312 GB minimum with the desktop
Windows Server 20199 January 20292 GB minimum with the desktop

Microsoft stops security updates for Windows Server 2016 on 12 January 2027. A new server on it would lose its patches within weeks, so we don’t offer it. Server 2022 left mainstream support in October 2026 but keeps getting security updates until 2031.

You may see “Windows Server 2026” on other menus. There is no such version: Microsoft’s release page lists Server 2025 as the current long-term release.

Sizing

How much RAM does a Windows VPS need?

Microsoft’s hardware requirements ask for 2 GB of RAM for Windows Server with the desktop, and recommend 4 GB for Server 2025. It calls 32 GB of disk an absolute minimum.

  • Lite 2: one light job2 vCPU, 2 GB, 40 GB. Meets Microsoft’s minimum for 2019 and 2022. Fine for one small app or a remote desktop you use now and then.
  • Lite 6: the comfortable choice6 vCPU, 6 GB, 100 GB. Above the 4 GB Microsoft recommends for 2025, with room for updates and a few apps.
  • Lite 8 and up: real workloadsDatabases, build servers, several users’ apps. More RAM means fewer pauses while Windows updates.

Hourly billing makes a wrong guess cheap: start on Lite 2, and if it feels tight, move up.

Remote Desktop

Connect from anywhere, without leaving the door open.

You connect with Microsoft’s free Windows App, on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android. Remote Desktop listens on port 3389, so that is the door to protect.

  • Keep NLA onMicrosoft says to keep Network Level Authentication enabled. It checks your password before the desktop even loads.
  • Limit who can reach 3389Microsoft says opening Remote Desktop to the internet isn’t recommended and a VPN is preferable. Allow only your own IP in the firewall, or connect through WireGuard.
  • Don’t count on a new portMoving RDP off 3389 cuts log noise, not risk. Microsoft’s own advice is to leave the port alone and protect it properly.
  • Two sessions includedWindows Server allows two admin sessions at once without extra licences. More users need Remote Desktop Services licences, which aren’t included.

What people use it for

Deploy Lite 2

Your use case is on the list? Lite 2 is $4 a month, or $0.006 an hour.

The rules

How the Windows licence is billed.

Deploy Lite 2

Every rule is on this page before you pay.

The licence is $4 a month, the same on every Lite. It isn’t tied to cores, so a bigger server doesn’t mean a bigger licence bill.

It’s billed by the hour, like the server: 0.15% of $4 per started hour, so a server you keep for a day pays cents for Windows. A month never costs more than $4.

On yearly Keeps and Forever Keeps, the server is prepaid and the Windows licence is charged monthly from your credit balance.

Delete the server and both stop at that hour.

Try it without the risk

The worst case is an hour and a few cents.

We’re new, so we don’t ask you to take our word for it. Here is what protects your money. Refund policy

  • Delete any timeBilling stops at the hour you delete the server. No notice period, no cancellation form.
  • A monthly capHourly charges stop at the plan’s monthly price. The rest of that month is free.
  • The calculator is a promiseIf your bill is ever higher than our calculator for the same plan and hours, we refund the difference.
  • Your cash credit is yoursUnused credit you paid for goes back to your wallet in crypto when you ask.
  • Paused, not deletedRun out of credit and hourly servers pause, kept for 7 days. Top up and they come back.
  • People who answerOur target is a first support reply within 20 minutes, 24/7, and 99.99% uptime with credit back if we miss. SLA

Windows VPS FAQ

Questions before you buy.

Is the Windows licence included in the price?

It’s $4 a month on top of the plan, and every price on this page already includes it. A Lite 2 with Windows is $8 a month.

Which Windows Server version should I pick?

Server 2025 for anything new: it gets security updates until 2034. Pick 2022 or 2019 only if your software needs it.

Is 2 GB of RAM enough for Windows?

It meets Microsoft’s minimum for Server 2019 and 2022 with the desktop. For Server 2025, or more than one app, choose Lite 6.

Can I connect from a Mac or a phone?

Yes. Microsoft’s free Windows App runs on macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android.

How many people can log in at once?

Two admin sessions are included with Windows Server. More simultaneous users need Remote Desktop Services licences, which we don’t sell.

Can I pay for a Windows VPS with crypto?

Yes: top up with BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, BNB, XRP or XMR, and the server and licence draw from your balance by the hour. How crypto payments work.
