How codes work
Checkout checks the code and shows what it gives, or why it doesn’t apply, before you pay anything.
Type the code in Promo code (optional) when you add funds, for example TOPUP10. The invoice shows the bonus before you pay, and the credit lands once the deposit is confirmed. A code replaces the welcome bonus on that deposit.
Pick a Keep or Forever Keep, then type the code on the review step, for example KEEP20. The discounted price shows before you press Deploy. Hourly servers don’t take these codes.
The two steps are separate, so a deposit bonus and a Keep code combine: you pay the discounted Keep with a balance that already includes your bonus credit.
Coupon FAQ
One code per deposit and one per order, and those two combine. A deposit code goes in Add funds and a Keep or Forever Keep code goes on the deploy review. The bonus credit from your deposit is part of the balance you pay the Keep with, so you get both. Two codes on the same deposit, or on the same order, is not possible. If an automatic offer gives an order a better price than your code, checkout gives you the better price.
Yes, on a deposit. With a code in the Promo code box, that deposit gets the code's bonus instead of the automatic welcome bonus. On a first deposit of $100 or more the welcome bonus is 100%, so most deposit codes give less: leave the box empty unless the picker above says otherwise. A Keep or Forever Keep code doesn't affect it, because it is entered at deploy, not at Add funds.
Checkout tells you the reason before you pay. The usual ones: a typo; a deposit code typed on the deploy review, or a Keep code typed in Add funds; the code has not started or has ended; it is for new accounts only; the deposit is below its minimum; you have already used it as many times as it allows; or it is a Keep code on an hourly server, which bills from your balance instead. Codes on other websites that are not on this page have ended or were private. If it still looks wrong, ask support.
No. Bonus credit is account credit for servers, add-ons and renewals. It is spent before your own money and is never paid out. Payments are final, as our refund policy explains, so test a server by the hour for a few cents first if you are unsure.
A Keep code takes its discount off the first year. The renewal is at the normal price on your order, and later catalog price rises don’t apply to it. A Forever Keep is paid once, so there is nothing to renew.
Yes: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Solana, BNB, XRP or Monero. A bonus is worked out from what actually arrived, after the deposit is confirmed.
