Billing

Your balance: cash, bonus and holds

How a LiteKeep balance works: cash credit from deposits, bonus credit from promotions, what is spent first, what a deploy holds, and what can be refunded.

Last updated 26 October 2026

Your balance has two parts. Cash credit comes from your deposits and is refundable. Bonus credit comes from promotions, is spent first and is never refunded. What you can spend is both, minus anything held for a server being created.

Cash credit and bonus credit

  • Cash credit: what arrived from your deposits, in US dollars at the rate on the invoice.
  • Bonus credit: extra credit from a deposit bonus or an adjustment by our staff. Charges take bonus credit first, then cash.

What a deploy holds

When you deploy, we hold part of your balance until the server is ready, so two deploys can’t spend the same money:

  • Hourly server: 48 hours of its hourly price, at least $1. The hold is released when the server is ready, and hourly billing takes over.
  • Keep or Forever Keep: the price, charged when the server is ready.
  • If the server can’t be created, the hold goes back to your balance at once and nothing is charged.

Getting money back

Unspent cash credit is refunded on request, in crypto: write to [email protected] from your account email. A Keep or Forever Keep can be cancelled for the full price within 14 days of buying it. Bonus credit and hours a server already ran are not refunded, and the network fee for sending a refund is taken from the amount. The refund policy has the details.

Where to see it

The top of Billing shows four figures: Available (what you can spend now), Cash credit (refundable), Bonus credit (spent first) and Burn rate (what your servers cost per hour right now). The Ledger section lists every deposit, charge and adjustment.

If a figure looks wrong

  • Available is lower than your balance: part of it is held for a server being created. The hold ends when the server is ready or the deploy fails.
  • A deposit isn’t in your balance yet: it is still confirming. See how long until a deposit is credited.
  • Still unsure: open a ticket about Billing; we see the same ledger.
