Servers
Your server page: addresses, image, billing and settings
What the Overview and Settings tabs of a LiteKeep server show: the IPv4 address, SSH command and image, this month’s cost against its cap, activity, and renaming.
Last updated 27 October 2026
Each server has an Overview and a Settings tab. Overview shows how to connect (IPv4 address, SSH command, image), what it costs this month against its cap, and recent activity. Settings lets you rename or delete it. Every server comes with one IPv4 address.
Connect
- IPv4: one public IPv4 address comes with every server, included in the price.
- IPv6: shown here when the server has one.
- SSH command: copy it into a terminal (how).
- Image: the operating system or app it was deployed with.
Billing
The plan, its rate, any Windows licence, and This month with a bar showing how close the server is to its monthly cap. Once the cap is reached, the rest of the month costs nothing more (how hourly billing works).
Settings: rename or delete
Rename changes the name shown in your console; it doesn’t change anything on the server itself. Delete this server is covered in delete a server.
Changing the plan or the operating system
Resizing a server and reinstalling it with another image aren’t available in the console. To move to a bigger plan or a different system, deploy a new server, move your data across, then delete the old one. With hourly billing you only pay for the hours both run.
Questions about this page
- IPv6 says None: the server has no IPv6 address; use the IPv4 address.
- This month looks high: check whether a server was stopped rather than deleted, and whether a Windows licence is listed. Both bill by the hour.
- The name and the hostname differ: renaming only changes the console label, so set the hostname inside the server if you want them to match.
