Crypto payments

Wrong amount, late, twice or on the wrong network

What happens when a LiteKeep deposit is a little off, a lot off, late, paid twice, sent as the wrong token or on the wrong network, and what to send support so a person can check it.

Last updated 26 October 2026

A payment a fraction of a cent off is credited automatically. Anything else (a larger difference, a late or double payment, the wrong token) is checked by a person, who credits what arrived when it reached a wallet we hold. Money sent on a network we don’t use may not be recoverable by anyone.

A little more or less

Within a fraction of a cent of the invoice, the payment is credited automatically at the invoice rate: we credit what arrived, more or less.

A lot more or less

A bigger difference doesn’t match the invoice, so it goes to a person, who checks it and credits what arrived at a fair rate. Open a ticket with the transaction ID if you don’t see it credited within a working day.

After the invoice expired

We keep watching for 72 hours after the invoice expires. A payment in that time goes to a person, who credits it if it matches. Later than that, open a ticket with the transaction ID.

Paid the same invoice twice

The first payment is credited. The second matches no open invoice and goes to a person, who credits it to your balance. Unspent cash credit is refundable if you’d rather have it back.

The right network, the wrong token

For example USDC sent to a USDT invoice address on Ethereum. We only pick up the token the invoice names, so it isn’t credited automatically. Open a ticket with the transaction ID: a person checks whether it reached a wallet we hold and tells you what we can do.

The wrong network

For example USDT sent on BNB Chain to an Ethereum address. We don’t watch networks the invoice doesn’t name, and funds sent on them often can’t be recovered by anyone. Tell us anyway with the transaction ID: a person checks whether anything can be done, and says so plainly if not.

What to send support

From your account, open a ticket about a payment, or email [email protected] from your account email, with:

  • the invoice, the coin and the network,
  • the transaction ID (TXID),
  • the amount you sent.

We never ask for a fee to recover a payment, and we never contact you first about one. Anyone who does is a scammer.
